Refund Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure with the service, you're entitled to cancel and get a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for the drop in value. If a failure isn't major, we'll fix it (for example, resend a missed brief) within a reasonable time. If we can't, you can ask for a refund.
Examples of a major failure
- We repeatedly fail to send your briefs and don't fix it after you tell us.
- The service is substantially different from what we described.
Other refund requests
Outside the Australian Consumer Law, refunds for change of mind are at our discretion. We're reasonable. If you've just signed up and haven't had value from it yet, email us.
- Monthly: cancel any time and you won't be charged again. The current month isn't refunded for change of mind unless the law requires it.
- Season Pass / Early bird: one-off payments for the season. Change-of-mind refunds are at our discretion.
A refunded subscription stops further briefs. A refunded payment also stops counting as a referral.
How to ask
Email support@deadlinebrief.com with the email you paid with. We aim to reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe and usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
