Privacy Policy

Deadline Brief ("we", "us") is an Australian business that sends a weekly Fantasy Premier League (FPL) email. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Email address, so we can send your brief.
- FPL Team ID and preferences you give us (e.g. "send brief earlier", timezone, waitlist answers).
- Payment details, which are collected and held by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your email, plan, payment status and Stripe customer/subscription IDs.
- Referral data: your referral code and which paying friends used it.
- Basic technical data such as IP address (hashed, for spam/rate limiting) and email delivery events.
We never ask for your FPL password.
How we use it
To build and send your brief from public FPL data for your Team ID, process payments, run referrals, answer support emails, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- Resend: email delivery.
- Hostinger: website hosting and our subscriber records.
- Fantasy Premier League: we request your public team data from the official FPL API using your Team ID.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (for example in the United States or EU). We use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.
Emails and unsubscribing
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops our emails. If you pay monthly, it also asks us to cancel your subscription.
How long we keep it
While you're a subscriber, and afterwards only as long as needed for tax, accounting and dispute purposes.
Access, correction and complaints
Email us to access or correct your information, or to ask us to delete it. If you're unhappy with how we handled a privacy issue, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
